About

I finally decided to record my food adventures from across the world! Ok, well really mostly just around Elwood in Melbourne… But sometimes in other places as well. The reason? Basically because I have a terrible memory, and I would like to have something to look back on after a nice dining experience. That, and I’m pretty opinionated and always have something to say about a meal – so why not share. The purpose of this blog – which also happens to be my first foray into the world of blogging is to document the various restaurants, bars and events that I attend. I hope you get something out of my ramblings, perhaps a recommendation that works out. Let me know if this is the case.

Very nice website, excellent layout. But also this is just what I was looking for in a food blog, a writer who is obviously well read but also unpretentious, someone who I could relate to. I wonder if you could include a little more about yourself, like what you do for a living?

Hi Andrew, thoroughly enjoyed reading through your Burger Hunt experiences! I now have a few new burger locations I will consider trying… Can I recommend Dandenong Pavillion (my personal fave burger outside of USA to date), B.East in Lygon Street, and I will be venturing to Eat8Bit next week in Footscray… check out their Facebook – I can’t imagine how I will be disappointed after seeing photos of their food.

      • Hey Amy, let me know how 8bit goes – I love that place, burgers aren’t bad either. I want to go back and try the golden axe! Btw, Dandy Pavilion was great, loved their burger, very good quality traditional style burger. Nice recommendation 🙂

    Hi Andrew
I would be really interested if you would review this Hamburger place in Greville st Prahran.
For the life of me I cannot remember its name, but it is directly opposite the old Railway Hotel (about 20-30 metres from the station as you head towards Chapel st).
The burgers I had there was one of the best that I have every tasted and it was very reasonably priced (around $7.50 for one with the lot).
